ELMUMY Featured in First Project Cluster Policy Webinar on Understanding Cancer

On July 4th 2024, the ELMUMY project participated in the First Project Cluster Policy Webinar on Understanding Cancer, hosted as part of the EUHPP Live Webinar Series. This landmark event focused on enhancing collaboration across EU-funded projects to ensure more effective use of research results in the field of cancer understanding.

The webinar brought together a wide range of stakeholders and citizens, highlighting diverse perspectives on research and innovation within the scope of the EU Cancer Mission. It also served as an early platform to showcase the newly launched cluster projects.

The session began with an introduction to the concept of clustering within the Cancer Mission, followed by reflections on early experiences from projects working together in the Understanding Cancer Cluster.

A key highlight was the discussion on ensuring early uptake of research outcomes. In this segment, Prof. Makis Zoidakis presented the ELMUMY project, outlining its goals and contributions to advancing cancer research through collaborative innovation.
